I was FURIOUS when I realized this.

Now I hear you thinking: “What did he do?” Well let me tell you…

After a year of starting with theme pages, I finally got my first true viral video, with well over 30 million views. And how much money do you think I made from that? $500? $5000? $10.000?…

I made $0.

I could have easily earned my monthly salary X5, but instead I only got 200.000 followers from that video.

A costly mistake that could have easily been avoided, if I just did a little bit more research.

If I did that, I would have known that instagram does not pay you for views, nor likes or followers. You gotta do it all by yourself.

What I should have done, is create a digital product that I would sell to the viewer of that video. If I had a digital product priced at $5,- and only 1% of that 30 million bought it…Well, you could have called me uncle Scrooge.

But let this be your warning , ALWAYS create a paid product before you start your theme page. It doesn't matter if it's a course or service or whatever, just make sure you have it.
